This technical note describes the Functional layout for the TASS System.

Contents include: Keywords, Description, Diagrams, Data flow.

Each page will include an email response button. This button will mail Listserve and myself with your request. Please submit your request for change, in a clear and concise way, explaining and motivating yourself.

The application used to generate the Flow is Visio Pro V5.0. The information published will be static, i.e.: no changes allowed on the WWW. The Config Control (in the interest of diag integrity) will be handled by myself, until this document is completed. Since this is a complex endeavor, you are welcome to mail me diags done in any form or format, this will be integrated into the main doc. The only way we will have consistency is if one person is doing the changes to the main document.

Keywords:

• Calibrated FITS: Image that conforms to FITS standard, and where the Dark Field has been subtracted and the Flatfielding completed. Also called Instrument Calibrated.
• Compress data: ????

• Solve Astrometrically: ???

We may use this area to define a common set of descriptions for the Objects and Processes in TASS
